ABOut Thymewood
About us
A studio for those who see a house as a legacy.
Thymewood brings together property development, project management and interior design to offer a considered and personal approach to creating and caring for exceptional homes. By bringing every element together under one roof, we can guide a project from its earliest plans through to the final finishing touches.
We have a genuine love for heritage buildings and the stories held within them. Our work is rooted in preserving the character that makes each property special, while thoughtfully shaping it for the way people live today. Every decision is made with care, intention and respect for the building beneath it.
We understand how personal a property can be, whether it is a much loved family home, a historic estate or an investment for the future. We care about every project as deeply as if it were our own, taking the time to understand what matters to our clients and remaining closely involved throughout. For us, it is about protecting what makes a property special and giving it a future that feels every bit as considered as its past.
The founders
Meet Nicola.
Nicola works across the creative direction and project management of each Thymewood property, shaping the vision while ensuring it is carried through every stage of the project. With a natural eye for interiors and a genuine love of period homes, she creates spaces that feel elegant, inviting and true to the character of the building.
Her love of antiques and thoughtfully collected pieces brings a sense of history, warmth and individuality to her designs. Working closely with clients, consultants and trades, Nicola brings together the many elements of a project to ensure the finished property feels considered, cohesive and entirely individual.

What we believe
Heritage should be honoured and thoughtfully carried forward
Good design begins with listening
The finest interiors feel collected, not decorated
A house should feel as remarkable to live in as it is to look at
